Lysine Sulfate Characteristics:
Biologically active additive to animal feed. Outwardly, it looks like a powder or granules (grains).
Does not contain impurities. Moisture content is not more than 3% in lysine sulfate. The molecular weight of pure lysine in the feed additive is 50-75%. Let's moderately dissolve in water.
Production
The feed additive is produced by microbiological synthesis using strains of special bacteria. When placed in a nutrient medium, bacteria produce L-lysine.
Another method is chemical synthesis. For this, the cyclic amide capralactam is used - a non-carcinogenic raw material.
Use of lysine
In feed, meal and other food additives, lysine is contained in the form of monohydrochloride and sulfate. Lysine sulfate of 70-75% concentration is introduced into compound feed, vitamin and mineral mixtures, feed mixtures for animals.
The substance helps to improve the quality of protein concentrates used for feeding farm animals. In turn, it makes their diet more balanced, which has a good effect on physical performance and improves the properties of livestock products.
