Colorless liquid produced from by-products of the petrochemical industry *. It is used in the production of solvents, as a high-octane additive for fuels and lubricants, as an absorbent. It is also widely used as a fuel for closed furnaces. The use of the product is becoming more diverse due to such a property of aromatic carbons as high reactivity in substitution reactions.

Main characteristics: · temperature of the beginning of distillation: not lower than 120 ° С; · Density at 20 ° С / cm3: not less than 860; · Mass fraction of C9-C10 aromatic hydrocarbons: no more than 10%; · 90% distilled at a temperature: not higher than 160 ° C; · Mass fraction of toluene: no more than 30%; · Neutral reaction of the water extract; · Mass fraction of C8 aromatic hydrocarbons: not less than 60%; · Does not contain hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans.
