More and more manufacturing organizations want to buy such a product in bulk, which is both convenient and profitable. Where can I do this? What should be taken into account before making a purchase?
Important information about HC nitric acid, or what is its danger?
Nitric acid of the HC brand is a special aqueous liquid, the concentration of the main substance in which is 65%. Such a product, among other things, can be used to perform etching work and in laboratory practice.
Regardless of the scope of use, when working with chemically pure nitric acid, it is important to strictly observe certain precautions. This chemically dangerous substance, when in contact with human skin, leaves a severe burn on it, which does not heal for a long period of time. Nitric acid vapors entering the respiratory system strongly affect the protective shell. Due to the increased chemical activity, this product is unstable. When it decays, it forms nitrogen dioxide, a toxic component that can cause irreparable harm to human health.
To avoid unpleasant situations, you should follow several recommendations.
• Use special clothing, shoes and gloves, a respirator and safety glasses — personal protective equipment.
• In case of contact with the skin or eyes, rinse the affected area with a 2% solution of baking soda or clean water and immediately call an ambulance.
• Make sure that the accumulation of nitric acid in the air in the working area is no more than 2 mg/m.
• The room in which the product is used must have a good ventilation system.
• Dark containers are suitable for storage, since in bright light the substance decomposes into water and brown gas.
• The product must not be transported together with organic components, combustible and flammable substances.
